F.A.Q.
The UniCApod video publishing server allows all teachers and staff of the Université Côte d’Azur to upload audiovisual documents for distribution.
Below are some answers to the most frequently asked questions about this tool:
❓How to upload a video?
Follow the tutorial "Comment déposer une vidéo sur UniCApod".
❓What is the planned obsolescence of UniCApod videos?
Any video uploaded to UniCApod has a "deletion date", on which the video will be deleted. This date is automatically set at 2 years after the upload.
You will automatically receive up to 3 emails before the deletion date: 60 days before, 30 days before and 7 days before, allowing you to postpone this deletion date if the video is still relevant.
❓My video will soon be "obsolete". How to postpone the deletion date?
Follow the tutorial "Comment modifier la date de suppression d’une vidéo".
❓I want to broadcast recordings of my courses for my students only.
To be supported in your educational uses, consult the resources made available to you by the Center for Educational Support.
❓Can my students broadcast videos via UniCApod?
By default, no student can upload a video on UniCApod. If you want to authorize the uploading of videos by your students on UniCApod, you can vouch for authorizing a group of students by writing to us at dsi.sen.pedagogie@univ-cotedazur.fr specifying the APOGEE code concerned (stage or ECUE).
❓I want to create a channel on UniCApod, who should I contact?
The editorial line of the UniCApod channels is managed by the Centre d’Accompagnement Pédagogique (CAP).
So do not hesitate to contact them about this (cap.assistance@univ-cotedazur.fr or via a GLPI ticket).
❓I want to publish my videos in an existing UniCApod channel, who should I contact?
Each channel has its own manager. You will need to contact them so that they authorize you to publish in their channel.
